Q: Where are the lessons held? A: In Manhattan, either in a private space (VERY LIMITED) or in a beautifully maintained ballroom studio in Midtown Manhattan - ask for details.
Q: We are a couple getting married soon and would love to learn a dance routine for our favorite song. How many sessions would we need? A: 3 to 5 lessons is all you need. You ARE in complete control of how many lessons you might need to master the dance. If budget sensitive, you can minimize the number of lessons needed by practicing in between sessions. You'll have all the videos you need on your phone. If you practice, you can nail even a complex routine in as little as 3 to 5 sessions. If for any reason (you completely forgot to schedule a dance lesson, or your work schedule is 80 hours a week) you have time for only 1 or 2 lessons, do not worry, I have you covered and will make sure that you enjoy the learning of this new love language, that you will look natural and confidant on the dance floor together.
Q: In order to have detailed information, is it better to call 917 566 6416 or email stephanie@dancewellny.com? A: The best way to get accurate information about your customized lesson plan - including budget - is with a phone call or schedule a call through Calendly.
Emails are great to make sure we are on the same page and I will send you an email after our conversation.
Through a brief phone call, I get to understand you and serve you better. I also have questions for you too: song choice, possible merging of more than one song together, wants, fears, would there be a band playing the song, or would the track be played by a DJ and so forth. Your answers would affect the ultimate approach of your unique process and therefore also the number of lessons needed.
Every couple is unique. Our work together is one where I listen to your wants and desired outcome of the dance... It is your day after all.

Dance Well NY was established in 2008! I started teaching Hustle & Swing that spring after 8 years of training. Ballroom was added to my list of expertise with a teacher training program and tested in Medalist Exams of main figures. My claim to success is teaching movement to newer dancers and wedding couples. Many wedding couples continue on with private lessons for fun. Dance keeps you young, fit and happy! My goal is to share that with students, teaching them how to move confidently while enjoying themselves on the dance floor.
